JBar facilitates the processes involved in everyday routines of bars and restaurants, automating functions previously performed manually.
The software is composed of four modules:
JBarCliente – It is installed on customer's mobile phone, allowing him to control the table account, place orders and get the account statement in real time via bluetooth.
JBarGarçom – Module for the waiter's use. Allows the waiter to open the account of the table, place orders and obtain the account statement. Uses WiFi connectivity to send and receive information.
JBar – It's used in computer desktop. Manages all processes of the establishment, such as opening, closing and printing of the account, cash management, commission of the waiters, customer base, inventory, delivery and billing.
JBarServer – It is responsible for handling all transactions and JBarGarçom JBarCliente with the Jbar software.
The modules Jbar and JBarServer were developed using technologies that are independent of the operating system available. It can adapt with Windows 1998, XP, Vista, Linux and others.
The modules JBarCliente and JBarGarçom also work consistently in most mobile devices - cell phones, smart phones, palms and pockets. Regardless of the operating system used by the device, as long as the Java ME platform was accepted by it.
